9. Black Milk and Danny Brown - Black and Brown. I had a big thesis on this all ready, and it involved talking about Lil Wayne, and skinny jeans, and the genetic alterations in the last common ancestor humans share with other primates that led to the development of the prefrontal cortex, but I couldn’t really force it.  The point I’m trying to make is that Danny Brown is maybe more aware of rap music as an abstract as opposed to visceral construct in the same way that humans can paint and do calculus, but that he couldn’t exist in a pre-Wayne musical landscape. Fuck, I don’t know. LOL is a good track.
