MAJOR experimental design flaw spolier: the control group was people not playing any videogames, making it impossible to conclude that violent videogames specifically had any effect, or whether cognitive changes were due to 1. the act of playing any videogame or 2. witnessing violence regularly in any form, or 3. the act of prologned focus on any specific activity.
